Classification of Goods - Non-Food and Service

In the case of non-food items, the question is not whether consumption is permissible or not, so that only “ritual purity” [tahara] must be checked. This includes the "ritual purity" of all raw materials that are not subject to chemical transformation [istihala] in the production process, all cleaning agents in the production facilities, the means and aids used in the production facilities and all objects or people that come into direct skin contact with the goods, as well the packaging material.

During a production inspection, care is taken to ensure that other factors that cause ritual impurity cannot occur. In the event that impurity factors occur, the company will advise on how to prevent these factors.

The inspection of these goods is considered to be the least expensive and is therefore classified in cost category 1.
